Wall of Honor

What an excellent way to honor a family member, friend, organization or to thank someone for their military service by purchasing a brick at the Wall of Honor with a donation. The Wall of Honor is located in the lobby of the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum.

Your donation helps further the Museum’s mission and is tax deductible.

Commemorative Brick Options:

Physical Commemorative bricks will be added to our "Wall of Honor" located at the Gold Star Museum.

  • For a gift of $150, a 4-inch x 8-inch engraved brick will be installed in our Wall of Honor. Each 4x8 brick may be engraved with up to three lines of text with a maximum of 13 characters per line including spaces and punctuation.
  • For a gift of $500, a 8-inch x 8-inch engraved granite stone will be installed in our Wall of Honor. Each 8x8 granite stone may be engraved with up to six lines of text with a maximum of 16 characters per line including spaces and punctuation.
  • For a gift of $1,000, a 8-inch x 12-inch engraved granite stone will be installed in our Wall of Honor. Each 8x12 granite stone may be engraved with up to six lines of text with a maximum of 22 characters per line including spaces and punctuation.

Bricks and Granite Stones are installed each May, just prior to Memorial Day.
