Discovering The Last Flag Raiser of Iwo Jima

For the 75th anniversary of the battle of Iwo Jima, local Iowa historian, Brent Westemeyer, presents his discovery of the identification of the final flag raiser on Iwo Jima, Corporal Harold "Pie" Keller of Iowa.

Brent is joined by Harold Keller's daughter, Mrs. Kay Keller Maurer, who discusses her father's service; local expert and author, Dr. Lisa Ossian, also presents the impact of the Iwo Jima flag raise on the public within the homefront.
