Group Tours
A visit to the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum is a fantastic way to enhance your classroom curriculum, while engaging learners of all ages with hands-on, educational experiences of our Iowa military veterans.

K-12 Student Groups
We ask for at least one chaperone for every 10 students to ensure their best possible experience.
For student groups of 50 or less, please plan on one hour for a basic museum tour. For student groups larger than 50, we ask you allow at least two hours. This will allow us to divide your large group into smaller, more manageable groups, while rotating your groups through the different exhibits and displays.
Non-Student Groups
We request all groups of 10 participants or more to schedule a group tour with the Museum.
Time Management
Tours that are in conjunction with your visit to Camp Dodge will need to be coordinated with the Iowa National Guard and Museum Staff.
